MEDinfinit mission is to empower people no matter where they choose to live and remove barriers from professional therapy and make it available to all.
How do I get started?
You’ll be prompted to answer a few questions about yourself and your preferences for therapy, and our matching algorithm will suggest three potential therapists. Choose the one that’s the best fit for you, and follow the steps to set up your MEDinfinit account.
What kind of online therapy services does MEDinfinit provide?
Video Therapy. MEDinfinit offers video call sessions with your favorite therapist using an online platform. Live video therapy sessions are secure and held in real time and usually take 45 minutes. Multiple studies have found that live video therapy has the same effect as face-to-face sessions.
Text Therapy. MEDinfinit offers access to a virtual therapy room 24/7. You can leave a text message to your counselor at any time. Text therapy service will be asynchronous communication. We guarantee that your counselor will check the chat inbox twice per day. Therefore, you can expect that your counselor will respond to your messages 1-2 times a day during their working days.
How do I communicate with my therapist?
Every MEDinfinit user has a secure, private “room” to communicate with their provider in. Your MEDinfinit “room” is available 24/7 so you never have to wait to share what’s on your mind. Message your therapist whenever something comes up — whether you’re commuting, at the office, or lying in bed. For all Live Video Sessions, you and your therapist will schedule an appointment in advance. All communication is hosted on the MEDinfinit platform.
How is my privacy protected?
The privacy of our clients is our #1 priority. Therapy at MEDinfinit is absolutely confidential. MEDinfinit is a fully HIPAA compliant place. All your personal information and your therapy session data are encrypted on the servers.
Who are MEDinfinit counselors?
All therapists are vetted licensed professionals. Our therapists are trained and experienced psychologists and psychiatrists. َAlmost all of our therapists have a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their countries’ professional board after completing the necessary education, exams, training, and practice in their home country. Note, therapists may not be necessarily licensed in your country of residence.
