I’m Mani Rafiei, a clinical psychologist specializing in therapy and industrial and organizational psychology. Born in 1986 in Tehran, my academic journey began with undergraduate studies in chemistry at Sharif University of Technology. However, my passion for psychology soon led me to redirect my focus and devote myself to this fascinating field.
Starting in 2008, I immersed myself in the study of psychology, culminating in the achievement of a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Allameh Tabatabai University in 2012. That same year, I commenced my doctoral studies at the same institution, ranking 11th in my class. My doctoral research culminated in the defense of my thesis in 2018, titled “Review of the Phenomenology of the Experience of Loss and Its Role in Shaping the Narrative of Young People’s Lives.”
My professional endeavors span three main areas: psychotherapy, industrial and organizational psychology, and psychology education. My interests are not limited to these areas alone; I have a passion for qualitative research in subjects like the psychology of death and loss, depression, evolutionary psychology, and social psychology. My work aims to understand the human mind’s intricate patterns, helping individuals and organizations flourish and thrive.
