My name is Ania Zolmajd. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Shahid Beheshti University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Allameh Tabataba’i University. After immigrating to Canada, I pursued registration through the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec, completing a micro-program at the University of Montreal, followed by over nine months of supervised clinical training — which led to my official registration in Quebec (Registration No. 1531925).
To me, the therapy room is a safe, calm, and non-judgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. My goal is to create a relationship built on empathy, respect, and trust, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, recognize your behavioral patterns, and find healthier, more balanced ways to grow and heal.
With more than 25 years of experience in counseling and psychotherapy, including over 11 years of practice in Canada, I have worked extensively in individual and child therapy, particularly in special needs psychology, play therapy, and parent training.
I have completed numerous professional trainings in diverse therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic / Psychoanalytic, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Mindfulness-based, Behavioral, Gestalt (Holistic), Narrative, and Art Therapy.
Fluent in three languages, I currently conduct all sessions online, offering accessible and culturally sensitive care to clients from around the world.
My main areas of focus include child therapy, individual therapy, and special needs psychology, supporting each client in reconnecting with their inner strength, emotional balance, and potential for change.
