I’m Farzaneh Abroshan, a psychotherapist and schema therapist with a passion for teaching, healing, and supporting others on their journey toward self-awareness and growth.
My path toward psychotherapy began with a deep curiosity that’s been with me since childhood. This spirit of inquiry stayed with me as I grew, guiding me through various stages of life and eventually leading me from my former career into the world of psychology. While I was working as a nutrition consultant at the Diabetes Association and educating patients, I found myself increasingly drawn to psychological studies—and soon, I was immersed in the world of mental health and human behavior.
Problem-solving has always been deeply meaningful to me. As a therapist, I am not just an active listener—I’m also a thoughtful guide who walks alongside clients with attention, care, and commitment. Over the years, whether in the therapy room or in university classrooms as a lecturer, I’ve poured my energy into both psychotherapy and education with great love and enthusiasm.
I’ve explored and trained in various therapeutic approaches, and found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy to be especially effective for my clients—though I respect the value of all modalities. I’ve conducted and facilitated many in-person and online workshops, including Schema Therapy, Life Skills, Building Sustainable Relationships, Dream Analysis & Free Association, REBT, and courses on psychopathology designed for psychology students.
My clinical focus includes individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy. I deeply believe that every person has the capacity to contribute to making the world a more beautiful and compassionate place—for themselves and for others.
