I am a lifelong learner, having spent more than 15 years in academia studying midwifery, linguistics, and psychology, each of which has shaped my holistic understanding of the human mind and body. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University with summa cum laude distinction (the highest level of academic achievement) and am currently completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, informed by evidence across disciplines, from nutritional psychology to movement therapy, to strengthen the connection between mind and body and promote overall well-being.
As a Certified Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner, trained through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM), I specialize in using group-based approaches to treat trauma. I have organized and facilitated several mind-body group therapy programs, helping participants reconnect with their resilience through awareness, movement, and emotional processing.
In my individual and group therapy work, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory, Mind-Body Medicine, and somatic interventions.
My clinical focus includes trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression, and I strive to offer every client a compassionate, evidence-informed, and empowering therapeutic experience.
