I am Sahar, a Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Science degree and more than eight years of experience in psychological counselling and treatment. Based in Germany, I have lived and worked in both Iran and Germany, giving me a personal understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany immigration and adapting to a new culture.I specialize in supporting immigrants and expats experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and difficulties related to relocation. In my work, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with particular attention to positive affect regulation and identifying and strengthening each client’s internal resources. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive therapeutic space where clients can better understand their emotions, navigate difficult experiences, and develop greater stability and resilience in their new environment.
